"A mate told me about this spot, so I gave it a go and tried a few things. My top pick has to be the crispy chicken—it’s super tender! I’m also a fan of the crispy wontons and the tofu nigiri. Oh, and the salmon was really fresh too! The owner mentioned it’s king salmon, freshly ordered from the South Island."

"This place used to be wasabi, but now changed to the name of Top Sushi. The food is fresh and my favorite is the crispy chicken, which is crispy outside but very tender inside, I think it is one of the best fried chicken I have had in Wellington, strongly recommend!"

"The discounted sushi deals in the afternoon are a great deal. Just one criticism, I bought 2 items today at around 4:30pm and the front of house worker who was handling the transaction didn’t greet me or show any gratitude once I finished paying. She needs to interact with customers and a simple greeting or a thank you goes a long way but she was looking too serious and didn’t say a word during the transaction. Hope this feedback goes to her."

"The most fancy sushi shop in town I spotted this shop on Willis Street and tired today. Freshly made sushi are superb! Crispy chicken kastu is only $3.5 Counter lady is friendly & helpful. I’ll surely visit again!"
